APM Auto-Purger <\/strong>
\nThe AUTO-PURGER\u00ae M<\/strong> is a compact and totally automatic, electronically-controlled, noncondensible gas refrigerant purger for reducing condensing pressure, and thereby saving electrical energy used by the refrigeration system. This deluxe purger is preassembled, prewired, tested, insulated, and includes an automatic water bubbler. It is suitable for refrigeration installations with capacity between 500 and 1500 kW.
\nInstallation requires piping the foul gas line, liquid line, suction line, water line, drain line, and wiring the power connection and the remote \u00bd” (13 mm) port purge point solenoid valves, which must be purchased separately.
\nUp to four (4) purge points can be controlled by this purger. The APM features welded piping and watertight electrical construction.
\nIt works mainly for ammonia and potentially for HFC and HCFC (upon demand). It also has an APMC version<\/strong> to connect more than four purge points.<\/p>\n

\nThe Non-Electrical AUTO-PURGER\u00ae (NEAP)<\/strong> is a simplified version of the popular Hansen AUTO-PURGER\u00aes. It is a non-electrical equipment recommended for small NH3 installations (200-1000 Kw).<\/p>\n

It is designed to remove non-condensible gases, mostly air, from an ammonia refrigeration system, resulting in lower energy costs for the system. The NEAP features weldedpipe, all steel construction and comes preassembled and tested, unlike the Armstrong purger which is shipped as unassembled components and pipes. The simple, heavy-duty design makes the NEAP especially suited for industrial refrigeration systems and does not require sophisticated training for the operators.<\/p>\n

The NEAP is lower in cost compared to other purgers. It also has a greater air removal capacity and is more versatile than other purgers. In addition, the NEAP can be located at any convenient location. Since it is non-electrical and has no external moving parts, it can be located anywhere, regardless of the elements.<\/p>\n
